The K2 Wayback 106 is a men's freetouring ski, renowned for its exceptional downhill performance, excellent grip and stability in all snow conditions. The Wayback range is equipped with Snowphobic hydrophobic topsheets, preventing snow from sticking to the top of the skis, thus avoiding weighting. Its Skin Grommets skin attachment system is both easy to use and reliable.
Thanks to Titanal Touring Technology, the ski combines a lightweight paulownia wood core with two layers of carbon and fiberglass reinforcement. A Titanal plate in the center of the ski provides exceptional stability without increasing weight. The Wayback 106, the widest in the range with its 106 mm waist and a weight of 1.5 kg per ski, literally flies over fresh snow, offering an unrivaled downhill experience even in difficult snow.
This ski is designed for advanced to expert skiers looking to combine lightness on the climb with performance on the descent. The Wayback 106 lets you forget that you have touring skis on your feet, while ensuring an efficient ascent without tiring your legs.
