The active Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation, made from 100% recycled materials, has an open construction that wicks away moisture and excess body heat. The insulation fibres are attached to a strong mesh core, so that no support fabric is needed inside the jacket. This saves weight and achieves a soft, fleecy feeling against the skin. With its PFC-free DWR treatment, the wind-resistant nylon outer shell provides protection in light rain. With woven fleece panels on the sides, the jacket offers great freedom of movement and excellent moisture management.
